The Incomplete Artist presents
"The Artist meets the Entrepreneur"
A live workshop soirée at The Pews in Merrickville
This is a unique seasonal workshop experience, meant as a creative and/or business reset. It is meant to intermittently workshop ideas, goals, progress, and keep forward motion, no matter the circumstances.
I'm feeling fear and doubt about doing this next one that I have themed,
"The Year of the Firehorse - moving through fear."
It's been a life changing summer. I've suffered a very disorienting trauma.
Exactly a month after our debut of this workshop at The Pews, our little village house burned down. Our sweet circa 1850s village house... all our history, belongings, and life's work. (For me it was boxes of handwritten journals and scripts from various decades, and footage. Long slow sssssigh.)
It's the Year of the Firehorse. This happens every sixty years and is meant to bring on fast paced change. That's poetic. Way better than losing everything you own to the violent visuals, smells and sounds that are a fire.
A lifetime's worth of writing, our little museum of travel curations and family history dating into the 1800s. It has felt like a strange death that keeps surfacing. I am counter balancing this in a variety of ways.
The Artist meets the Entrepreneur is in its fall session, which will include lovely guest speakers, artists and entrepreneurs alike. Come to be a part of an experience, both as a listener and student of life. Hear the stories of varied artists and entrepreneurs... take away new thoughts and insights before we head into the introspective winter months.
Eventbrite link soon for this unique and special event workshop.
Artistry and business are interwoven; often being an artist or entrepreneur requires intermittent courage and gathering. Sometimes it's re-invention or pioneering new spaces.
An accountability workshop.
